Exness from one Android phone: every route that works without a computer
Most platform guides assume a desktop is somewhere in the picture. For a great many traders it simply is not: the handset in the pocket is the whole setup — registration, install, sign-in, charts, deposits, and the day-to-day of the account. Everything below is written for that reader. Where a route needs a computer, it says so plainly instead of pretending otherwise.

What the handset covers, and the two things it does not
Registration happens once and creates the Personal Area; inside it, trading accounts are opened for a specific platform — MT4 or MT5. All of that works from a phone browser, and both platforms have mobile versions on iOS and Android. The honest list of what stays on a desktop is short, and for most people it never comes up.

Platform specifications are published by the platform developer and by Exness; they may change with new releases. The two desktop-only items are expert advisors — automated trading robots — and the wide chart workspace of the installed terminals: MT5 offers 21 timeframes and 38 built-in indicators on a desktop, MT4 nine timeframes and 30 indicators, and no phone screen displays that comfortably.

The Exness Trade app (formerly listed as Exness Trader) is on Google Play and the App Store, alongside the MT4 and MT5 mobile apps. That is where a real or demo account is created, where deposits and withdrawals happen, where leverage is set, and where the account number and server name for the trading terminals are shown.

An app that has been signed in stays signed in on that handset until it is signed out or removed — the state belongs to the phone, not to the account. The account itself lives on the broker's side, which is why a lost or replaced handset is an inconvenience rather than a lost account.

The commonest phone-only confusion is not a forgotten password — it is two sign-ins that look alike on a small screen and are not the same thing at all.

The Personal Area login: an email address
Opened in the phone browser on the official exness.com, or through the account section of the Trade app. It uses the email address and password chosen at registration. A new handset or a new browser may trigger a one-time verification code sent to that email — which is worth remembering before the old phone is wiped.

The terminal login: a number and a server
MT4 and MT5 mobile ask for a trading account number, a trading password, and a server name — never an email. All three are shown in the Personal Area and in the message sent when the account was created. On a phone the practical move is to copy them into the app in one sitting rather than typing them from memory.

Check the address bar before the password
A phone browser hides most of the address, which is exactly what look-alike sites rely on. Tapping the bar to see the full address before entering a password takes a second and shuts out copies of the login page. The account buttons on this site lead to the official exness.com directly.
When the handset changes hands
- A new phone does not need a new account. Installing the app on the replacement handset and signing in with the same details restores access; the account, its balance, and its history live on the broker's side, not on the device.
- Sign out before letting the old handset go. An app left signed in is an app someone else can open. Signing out, or removing the app, closes that door before the phone is sold, repaired, or handed on.
- A lost phone is an account access question, not a lost account. The Personal Area can be reached from any browser to change the password, and only official Exness support can act on the account itself — the login guide covers the recovery steps.

Can everything be done from a phone, with no computer at all?
Almost. Registration, verification, deposits, withdrawals, leverage settings, charting, and trading all work from a handset — the Personal Area is a website that opens in the phone browser, and both trading platforms have mobile versions. The two things that genuinely need a desktop are automated trading robots and a wide chart workspace.
Which app should be installed first on a new handset?
The one that matches the trading account. The Exness Trade app works with MT5 accounts; an MT4 account signs in through the MT4 mobile app instead. If no account exists yet, the order is simplest the other way round: create it in the Personal Area from the phone browser, see which platform it uses, then install accordingly.
Does the app stay signed in, or is the password needed every time?
Once signed in, the app keeps that state on the handset until it is signed out or removed. That is convenient and it is also why an old phone should be signed out before it is sold, repaired, or passed on — the signed-in state belongs to the device, not to the person holding it.
What happens to the account if the phone is lost or stolen?
The account, its balance, and its history sit on the broker's side, not on the device, so nothing is lost with the handset. Access is the thing to secure: the Personal Area can be opened from any other browser to change the password, and anything beyond that is a matter for official Exness support in the Personal Area.
Is the Web Terminal usable on a phone?
It loads in a modern phone browser, but it is a desktop-sized interface and a handset gives it very little room. It exists for computers that cannot have software installed on them. On a phone the Trade app or the MT4 or MT5 mobile app is the route built for the screen.
Can an APK be installed instead of using Google Play?
Yes — the direct APK is published on the official Exness website for handsets without Play access. Android asks for a one-time permission to install from the browser, and the guide on this site walks through each screen. APK files from any other source should not be trusted.
How is a demo account opened without a computer?
In the Personal Area from the phone browser, or through the account section of the Trade app: a demo can be created right after registration, before any deposit. Why does the mobile terminal ask for a server name?
Because MT4 and MT5 sign in with a trading account number, a trading password, and a server name rather than an email — the mobile versions work the same way as the desktop ones. Is there an Exness app for PC for when a computer does turn up?
Not as a separate program. On a computer the routes are MT4 or MT5 — installed desktop terminals — or the Web Terminal in a browser. The account is the same one, so a handset trader who later borrows a computer signs in there with the same details and nothing has to be recreated.
